**20+hrs of CPE for Texas Teachers**
Some directing classes focus on blocking. This one focuses on becoming the kind of director your students remember — the one who builds trust, models leadership, and shapes a rehearsal room that sparks growth.
In this hands-on, interactive course, you’ll explore the five essential dimensions of directing through the FLAME framework:
Facilitation, Leadership, Artistic Insight & Taste, Management, and Education/Mentorship.
Each week combines:
A 90-minute live Zoom session diving into real-world directing challenges
A 60 minute rehearsal assignment with a 10-minute play or scene
Video-based reflection and feedback
Practical tools you can take directly into your classroom
But this isn’t just about putting up a scene — it’s about how you show up as a leader. You’ll learn how to direct through the lens of advocacy, empowering your students while refining your own artistic voice.
Whether you’re brand new to directing or ready to reimagine your role, this course will stretch, support, and inspire you. And did we mention? We’re approved to offer you CPE hours if you’re a teacher in the state of Texas!

Cohort 2: Mondays, 6pm-7:30pm, June 23-July 27
Cancellation/Refund Policy:
Cancellation 14+ days before start date: Full refund, minus credit card processing fees
Cancellation 1-13 days before start date: 50% refund
Cancellation after start date: no refund, but prorated remaining registration fee may be applied to a future class.
